Bio

Debi Stack is an award-winning author, professional speaker and popular media guest who combines playful humor with practical how-tos that inspire women to choose a fresher, more freeing perspective on life.

Her first book, Martha to the Max: Balanced Living for Perfectionists (Moody Publishers, 2000) quickly gained popularity and has made her an in-demand speaker and media guest. The book received 14 endorsements and is in multiple printings and translations.

In Smotherly Love™: I know Where your Buttons are and I’m not Afraid to Push Them, (Thomas Nelson, 2007) Debi turns her attention to moms who are all-too-familiar with angst-ridden moments of everyday mother-daughter drama. Sixteen “she said/she said” stories, all based on mother-daughter interviews, offer a lighthearted look at irritating issues such as clothes shopping, texting on cell phones and cleaning a  bathroom properly.

Prior to focusing her creative talents as a full-time author and speaker, Debi held positions in public relations, radio and publishing. Her earliest literary efforts began in preschool when Debi dictated elaborate stories to her mother, then demanded that they be read back word-for-word. Debi’s penchant for writing and publishing continued through all her years of grade school, high school and college.

Debi has appeared on dozens of media programs including Janet Parshall's "America," Billy Graham's "Decision Today" and "Midday Connection." In 2002, local ABC-TV affiliate KMBC featured Debi’s relaxation tips each day during sweeps week. Debi regularly speaks to women’s groups across the country and with the right sedative would be at ease before audiences numbering up to 50,000.

The pampered wife of her college sweetheart, Debi and her husband Neal enjoy spending time with (and away from) their 21-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son.
